I don't exactly know the reason why you need a reverse phone directory but that doesn't stop me from giving you information on how to find the best one.

1. Be sure to type the correct number

- Yes I know it might be obvious but if you don't type the number correctly...those search engines don't give you something like a spell check. So be sure to check if you entered the right number.

There are too many services on the web that say they can provide you with free reverse searches. But what they do is simply give you some basic details like name of carrier, location and then charge you for showing you the name and address of the owner.
